Great delivery service with online tracking and text advising 1 hour time slot. Item very well packaged indeed. The unit is reasonable quality for the money. It isn't particularly well finished - some of the sea grass weave ends sticking out, linen covering the seat pad very thin and bit creased and joinery a bit crude. When you remove the baskets the bits of wood revealed aren't even fully painted, so the bare wood is showing. Let's call it "rustic". Having said all that, if you don't look too closely it's an attractive piece of furniture and frame is sturdy enough to support me sitting on the seat! It also sits at the bottom of my stairs nicely and fits several pairs of shoes in each basket. So, worth the money as far as I'm concerned. Will probably use Hartleys again. Received my storage today, it is as described and good value. The delivery was slightly longer than specified on email and had to stay in two days as not sure of delivery day and time range. Emailed the company for more information as on my login page it stated I didn't have any orders. No response to the email and no telephone number available for customer services. Just how internet shopping should feel, emails and texts to update when dispatched / delivered AND an HOUR time slot , just fabulous , delivery driver (UK Mail - top marks !) even rang me 3 times to tell me he was outside my house ! Most just drive off. Item packed amazing , sponge , polystyrene, box with extra hard card edges and tape ! I was very impressed and felt assured my item was going to be in tip top condition on opening ...and it was!! Finally a company who know what they are doing! Item is also very nice , looks great and holds plenty of my kids shoes one side and nappies/toiletries etc in other side. All round great experience and a REFRESHING CHANGE!!
