About me…

Hi, I’m Susie and I love my home.

Am I a professional interior designer? No. Am I someone who is always looking to change up their home for the better? Yes.

I may not be the richest person in the world, I may not have all the space in the world, but I love my home and I love having the freedom to personalise my place of solace, wherever I am.

A few years ago, my life took a turn and I ended up having to move house – a lot. Being so transient made me realise how important it was to have somewhere I could retreat to. Somewhere I felt safe and happy. It also made me learn all the little ways I could personalise my space, quickly and without spending a fortune, to give me that much needed haven.

Your home needs to reflect who you are, and I have come to realise this more and more as I have gone from place to place.

A home is not just somewhere you go to at the end of the day. It’s a feeling. It’s something that can make your life easier, help you relax, stay organised and if you’re like me, hide and store all the millions of things that you have collected over the years, so they don’t take over your living space.

Every person has their own taste. Some love light, some love colour, some love that warm, cosy feeling you get when buried down in the sofa under a pile of cushions.

For me, it doesn’t take much to make your house feel like yours. It’s just about seeing how much impact you can have by sticking to a few staple methods and techniques. And how much better do you feel in a relaxed home?

This is not just about decoration, this is about you being able to sleep, cook, wash, eat and entertain with ease. It’s about changing the little things to have a big impact. Making sure you make the most of your storage, so you can organise, de-clutter and make room for the little things that make you happy; so you can surround yourself with loveliness, without care, without worry.

Now that I’ve come to the end of my journey, I want to be able to share what I’ve learnt with you, so you too can get the most out of your home.

In my blogs, I’ll be writing about ways you can change up your home, so you too can feel empowered to design a living space that’s inspired and yours.

I hope that you will join me in my journey in finding new ways to live and be happy – wherever you are in the world.

What will you create?
